Can one photograph really show every side of a person?

Photographs show what people look like, but one photo cannot always show every side of their personality. These photographs show how different facial expressions, poses and body movement can change the way people see someone. The four show different sides of my personality. In the first, where I am standing with my hands together, my pose and expression are professional, calm, and show a friendly side of me. The second shows a quieter and more reserved side, especially when I meet people for the first time. The third shows something playful and outgoing, which people may not notice when they first meet me. The last brings these sides together, showing that I can be both quiet and playful depending on the situation and how comfortable I feel. The background and clothes in all four are the same, so the main difference is my expression and pose. The warm lighting helps make the photographs feel friendly and welcoming.

This connects to Cindy Sherman, who uses photographs to explore identity by dressing up and presenting herself as different characters. My photographs are different, because I am not trying to become different characters. I am showing different real sides of one person.
